Yup, I’ve been doing lots more cafe practice – and am becoming quite a connoisseur of muffins…!
So far, I’ve had ‘lemon & almond’, ‘raspberry & yoghurt’ and ‘banana and walnut’…but my humans never let me have the chocolate ones because chocolate is poisonous to us dogs.
My human, Paul’s back sickness is much better so he has been able to come to some of the cafe practices with us – I like that because it is much easier to make him feel sorry for me if I look at him with big sad eyes. At home I can always get him to give me treats if I smooch up to him and he is MUCH less strict than Hsin-Yi!
This is at Columbus Coffee in Newmarket:
When we go out, I always get lots of attention because I am so big and Great Danes are quite unusual – so people are always coming up to ask my humans about me and wanting to pat me…my humans find it a little annoying sometimes because they never get any peace but I love the attention!
Hsin-Yi ordered a normal “English Breakfast Tea” but they brought it in a weird fancy teapot!
I didn’t care about stupid teapots – I just wanted the MUFFINS!!!

Here are some photos from when we went to the Columbus Coffee in ‘Chancery‘ in the city.
Hsin-Yi likes Columbus Coffee a lot because they always have loads of space around their tables and so it’s much easier when you’re a big girl like me! I don’t have to worry about bumping into other humans sitting around us or being tempted by the yummy things on other people’s tables!
And a nice walk through Chancery and Albert Park to finish off the day!

Kool cafe & yummy muffins! Oh, what happened to Paul’s back? He hurt himself? Well, I hope it gets better soon. My paws are crossed for him. Oh Honey, if you don’t mind me asking this but how old are you? Just curious to know. Hee!
Butt wiggles,
Solid Gold Dancer
I wish we have so much space like you. I can’t wait to hang out at cafes with you!
Love, Dino
