Well, it was time for my humans to go away to visit their families in faraway places – so Lemon and I went to our favourite place to stay: the Airport Pet Hotel.
The Airport Pet Hotel is in the countryside, on a big piece of farm land near the airport – so it’s really handy for humans who are going away and need to go on those big flying machines.
This is a really cool place – it is not like traditional boarding kennels where dogs are often kept alone – here, dogs of similar sizes are kept together in open areas, sort of like a creche, and we can play and socialise together all day.

The only time we go into our crates is during mealtimes and when we go to bed, although we do also have “nap times” during the day so that we can recharge before the next play session! 
There is a little garden opening off from each of the creche areas too so that we can do our toilet business. And there is special cushioned flooring inside so that it’s soft and warm, not like hard concrete.
All the different creche areas are grouped around a middle grooming salon where there are humans supervising us all day – and of course, we all get a grooming session before we go home! My humans always ask especially for my nails to be clipped because they are so hard and difficult to do!
The human who owns the Airport Pet Hotel lives on site and I really like her. She has Afghan Hounds so she knows all about big dogs like me!

After they checked our vaccination records and a few other things, it was time to meet the other guests!
"Ooh! New dog! Hello! Hello! What's your name?"
Everybody always rushes up to say hello…
Lemon and I are going to be here for about 6 weeks now…so I’m afraid I won’t be able to do much blogging or visit your blogs much in the next few weeks! Sorry!
My human, Hsin-Yi, says she will try her best and if you don’t mind – since she probably won’t be able to get photos of me – she might just tell you about doggie things she sees during their time away…

Honey, good luck at the Pet Hotel! Hopefully, time goes quickly so you can be reunited with your Mom and Dad soon! Looks like a very fun place to play though! I bet you will have fun! Wow! How will you survive 6 weeks? I get stressed and end up with a colitis when mom leaves me even for a weekend. So needless to say, I’m very rarely left at all…..
