I am very sad: a few weeks ago, my human, Hsin-Yi, and I had just started some new classes at the Brisbane RSPCA Animal Training Centre called ‘Dog Sport Prep’ which is to help beginner doggies learn about Agility and Flyball.
I had tried Agility back in Auckland last year but what I really wanted to learn was Flyball!! Now, some of you may know that I am obsessed with tennis balls – I will chase tennis balls and bring them back until I drop dead! Hee! Hee!
And of course, being a Dane, I love to smack things with my paws…
So I think I would LOVE Flyball: doggies race against each other in teams where they run over jumps, smack a box, a tennis ball pops out, they grab the ball and then race back over the jumps – ready for the next team member to go!
For those who have never seen it before, here is a video showing this fun, fast & furious sport: (Wow! Aren’t those doggies fast?! And check out the bloopers at the end!)
Hsin-Yi used to watch the Flyball races at Crufts when my humans were still living in the faraway place called England and it was always the most exciting thing she ever saw.
There were no Flyball clubs near us back in Auckland so I never got to try any classes, although I did get to try out smacking the box for tennis balls in some of my classes at Flip’s Top Dog: (sorry for the blurry photos!)
And I’d always heard my blog friends, like Dennis the Viszla and Penny in Melbourne, talk about doing Flyball and been so envious!
So I was very happy and excited to start this class…
I was also finally getting to learn some of the Agility things properly, like how to do weave poles, starting with just 2 poles…
But then I got my back ouchie!
And then can you believe it, my nice new vet told my humans that because I am now nearly 7 years old and a ‘senior doggie’ for a giant breed, maybe I need to start “slowing down a bit”
!?@#!!*%#!!
So Hsin-Yi has decided that we have to drop out of these Dog Sport Prep classes as she says I am just too old now to do anymore dog sports which have lots of running and jumping. What does she mean “too old”??!! Speak for herself!!
I am perfectly fine and as fit as ever!
Humph!
But Hsin-Yi says that although my brain still thinks I’m Super Dog, my body just can’t keep up anymore and to stop me getting anymore ouchies, it is safer to stop the classes.
I am so gutted! I was enjoying the classes SO much and having so much fun – and even learning some exciting new things, like how to walk over a ladder…
httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQOat8z8Boo
.
Instead, now – after finishing the anti-inflammatory medicine - I am on 2 weeks of “gentle exercise” which means only short leash walks…BORING…and most of my days are spent like this:
.
…(yawn)…I think I’m going to die of boredom…
So yesterday, as a sop, Hsin-Yi said she would take me to the pet shop, Puppy Shack.
(One of the owners there is the nice lady pet-sitter who took me to stay in her home with her Great Dane, Harley, last time)
.
Well, I was a bit mollified- after all, pet shops always have lots of treats…
… but then I found out that one of the reasons Hsin-Yi took me there was because they said they would give me a free ‘pawdicure‘!
.
EEEEEeeeeek!!
My nails are really difficult to cut because they are HARD as rock and Hsin-Yi always gets blisters when she trims them. They are also really black so it’s hard to see the ’quick’ – in fact, Hsin-Yi has cut too much by mistake a couple of times and given me big nail ouchies and blood everywhere!
People always think my nails look very long when actually they are already cut as short as possible (to the quick) and aren’t touching the ground – but they still look very long just because my paws and claws are so big!

.
And can you believe it – Hsin-Yi didn’t even stay with me to hold my paw during my horrible stressy pawdicure experience…oh no, she was on the other side of the shop giving cuddles to another doggie!
This is Phoebe, a Cocker Spaniel who comes to stay in the Puppy Shack every day while her owner is at work. Don’t let these pictures fool you – she is a grumpy old girl who is always making nasty faces at me and barking at me…I stay well away from her!
Anyway, the nice humans in Puppy Shack did give me cuddles too after my pawdicure torture…
.
…and then I saw the yummiest things on the counter!
Hsin-Yi said that since I had been such a good girl during my pawdicure torture, she would buy me one of these special cookies. They had been made in a bakery just for doggies and smelled so delicious!
Hsin-Yi chose the biggest one – a carob bone-shaped cookie (carob is a special kind of “chocolate for dogs” – because real human chocolate is poisonous for us doggies!)
.
Mmm, they were the yummiest cookies I had ever tasted! Well, I guess I don’t mind coming back for another pawdicure if I get to have those cookies again!

Hsin-Yi says: Update on Honey’s back injury
We have now finished the course of anti-inflammatory medication and Honey seems completely back to her normal self. We tested her yesterday by prodding her spine area as the vet had shown us, especially in the lower back area, and she didn’t show any reaction at all – so hopefully, this means that the inflammation has died down and her back is no longer sore.
The vet had said that the inflammation could be due to 3 things:
- 1) muscle strain (from standing on her hind legs & over-extension of her spine)
- 2) a spinal disc bulging out (natural wear & tear from old age or again, injury from over-extension of her spine)
- 3) spondylosis, which is essentially a form of arthritis of the spine, again a common natural side-effect of ageing.
The only way to confirm (2) and (3) would be through X-rays and CT-scans – however, the treatment for all 3 conditions would be the same: anti-inflammatories and strict rest, followed by gentle exercise and gradual return to normal. Therefore, there is no reason to put Honey under the stress of sedatives, etc, for the scans. Even if she has a disc bulge or spondylosis, these will not affect her leading a normal life – other than avoiding high impact activities like jumping a lot. (The important thing is that she does not have any symptoms of more serious conditions, such as cauda equina syndrome, because all her neurological tests came up as normal during the vet exam).
Regardless of the cause, it’s obvious from these recent recurrent “injuries” that Honey is no longer as ‘durable’ as she was in her youth and it’s time to slow things down a bit. We have been very lucky with Honey – she has always been a very fit, active & agile dog, game to try anything I put to her – and without any of the structural & developmental conditions and diseases which plague so many Danes. Because I’ve been spoilt in having such a healthy, fit dog for so long, it’s now quite hard for me to come to terms with the fact that she is getting old and can no longer safely do many of the things I used to take for granted when she was younger. Oh, her spirit is still very willing – the problem is her body just can’t keep up anymore!
So I have to do the responsible thing and try to slow Honey down – since she certainly won’t slow herself down!
Thank goodness dancing is a low-impact sport so we will be able to continue that. (In fact, the vet felt that Honey had unusually good flexibilty and mobility for her age – possibly due to her continued dance training). And I may look into some more Obedience/Rally-O type classes as an alternative – I like to continue challenging Honey and learning new things together. Sometimes I joke about her “retirement” but somehow, I don’t think this dog will ever retire (or ever want to!)
I would love her to leave this world while still living life to the full – to the very last moment.

oh Honey it don’t sound no fun at all to get old. I sure Hsin-Yi will find tonnes of fun things for you to still do though. We is thinking of starting flyball. I will keep you posted!
~lickies, Ludo
So glad that Honey is feeling better. The bigger breed dogs really do age so much faster than the smaller ones. They still have the desire to do the things they did when they were younger but sometimes the body just says it’s time to slow down. I’m sure that Honey isn’t quite ready to be a “couch Potato” just yet! Stay well Honey and listen to Hsin-Yi, she will take good care of you! We all love you and your stories. Thanks for the updates!
Holly………..Sam’s mom!
Oh Honeydog…so sorry to hear you aren’t able to do your flyball anymore. I’ve watched it with Mom and while it looks like fun, I’m not much of a ball dog.
But I am glad to hear you are feeling better!
Mom’s first dane was diagnosed with Spondylosis when she was around 7. Mom did accupuncture for many years with her and found that it worked amazingly! Just a thought in case your back ouchies come back again and you get a specific diagnosis.
As for nails, my mom is obsessed with mine! She gives me a pawdicure every weekend. I don’t mind too much though, she uses something called a dremel and it doesn’t hurt at all. Plus I get lots of foodables the entire time!!
wags, wiggles & slobbers
Murphydog
I am also so happy to hear the Honey’s back is doing well -- yay! But I can imagine how difficult it is to back off from the more spirited activities -- how frustrating for so active a pair as you two! I feel lucky that Sam’s nails are manageable; like Murphydog, we first cut Sam’s nails, then “dremel” them as close to the quick as possible -- Sam has clear nails (lucky us), so we can really see the areas to avoid. LOVE the flyball movie -- I kept flashing back to the vids I’d seen at Dennis’ place! And Honey: great job on the ladder!!! You are one pawsome Dane! Keep on challenging your owner heheh!
Hugs xoxoxo
Sammie
hello honey its dennis the vizsla dog hay i am sorry that yore hopes of a flyball career hav ben dashd but i am glad yoo wil stil git to danse!!! i no dansing is fun on akkownt of dada goes to the stoodyo and duz it evry nite insted of staying home to watch televizhun or wotever!!! i am glad yoo ar feeling better now!!! ok bye
Gosh, Honey. I am so very sorry abouts having to give up flyball and agilitys. But I’m glad you can keep dancing cuz dancing looks like it’s way fun! My mom has talked about maybe trying dancing for me cuz everytime SHE starts to dance, my tail starts to wiggle!
I’m taking a Rally class right now and it’s pretty fun! I likes it cuz mom gives me treats and talks all happy to me and stuff. I heard in regular old traditional obedience they can’t even talk to you! What fun is there in that?
Anyway, I’m glad you’re feeling better and I know you’ll be Most Excellent and whatever you try next!
Happy Cheezeday!
Wiggles & Wags,
mayzie
We hope your ouchies are all better now…Getting older sure isn’t fun , that is for sure!!
Smileys and Snuggles,
Dory, Jacob and Bilbo
we just caught up in all your posts--we have been over to Newfoundland for a week. our middle name is rimadyl too Honey! and we are in the same bout as you. wolfhounds live even shorter lives then GD (5-8 years) sob.
so we are 2 years younger than you but having similar issues with aches and pains--just time to start slowing down..which is really sad when you are a splorin wolfie….
awwww Honey, while I’m glad your back is healing I’m sorry you have to slow down on your activities. I’ve never seen flyball before, and it looks like it would’ve been so much fun. Darwin’s not much of a ball fiend, but I think it would’ve been awesome to see a Dane run that course!
I just was looking up Cauda Equina Sydrome this weekend as I was looking into what could be Darwin’s problem. We have an appointment with the neurologist next Monday and I wanted to be able to ask about specific issues it could be to try and pinpoint what’s wrong with her. Though her problem seems to be in her Thorasic spine area and not the Lumbar area….
I’m so jealous you’re such a healthy dog in comparison to Darwin. I feel so bad for her that she’s not even a year and a half and having all these issues. We just want a healthy dog!!!
BTW. your cookie looked DELICIOUS! slobber everywhere! hehehe
Honey, we are so sorry you don’t get to play flyball….we know you would have been great at it. Unfortunately, that age thing is gonna get all of us…it is just a matter of time. Thank goodness there are other low impact things you can do. Maybe you should swim some more???
We hate to get pawdicures too. Meowm does ours, and I (Junior) am usually a good boy, but my brother gives Meowm tons of trouble….and he only has two paws to get ‘cured!!!
That cookie does look wonderful!
Oh Honey, we are so sorry to hear you won’t be able to do the agility or the flyball. We know you would do so well at both and have so much fun. But it is better to be safe than to risk a very painful injury. Little Ciara hurt herself in the yard and now has a sprained shoulder. Mom feels so badly for her.
We hope you continue to do well with the moderate exercise Hsin-Yi and Paul will help you with. And we hope you get to go to the Puppy Shack a lot more often:) And NOT for the pedicure.
Woos -- Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Sorry to hear about your back and having to spend most days on your GINORMOUS doggie bed. But I’m glad to hear that you’ll be able to continue with the dancing! And those treaties looked Most Yummy (even if Mom made some comment about doggie drool…)!!!

Sorry about having to quit some of your doggie sports but I don’t think Hsin-Yi will ever let you die of boredom! However you should make it clear that you don’t want any more surprise pawdicures!!!
My big chihuahua likes to smack things with his paws too. Mostly though, he likes to pounce on things. That’s his favorite activity. I love to watch him do this, he’s so funny! He used to pounce on my sleeping kitty when the kitty was still alive. The kitty didn’t like that very much!
What a disappointment you weren’t able to continue with the flyball class. Boo! I’m glad your back seems to be feeling better though.
I love that picture of you lying half on and half off your big pillow!
You looked like such a good girl while you were getting your nails cut! My dogs both hate it and fight me tooth and nail so I don’t do it as often as I know I should. Shiver sometimes chews his nails and I let him because then I don’t have to fight him to clip them. How nice of Hsin-Yi to give you a treat afterwards. You looked like you really enjoyed every morsel of it. Good for you!
Haha I totally agree with your !?@#!!*%#!! statement Honey, its hard to be told to slow down, especially for such a rambunctious gal such as yourself. And I think you would have had a ball (haha) with fly ball. I imagine it will be even harder for Hsin Yi to slow down than it is for you. But there are heaps of low impact fun things you can do, and by backing off now you’ll have heaps of time to enjoy low impact adventures
Maybe some hydro-therapy would be good??? Your nails are ginormous, I don’t blame Hsin Yi for getting someone else to chop them.
Honey sweet bootiful fwiend
You cewtainly don’t look ow act like a “seniow” doggie to me, but i know youw mommi loves you so vewy much and just want to make suwe you don’t have bad ouchies. don’t wowwy , she’s so clevew she’ll figoowe out stuff that’s safe and fun so you don’t have to be bowed
smoochie kisses
ASTA
Hi Honey,
I am sorry to hear that you are facing a hard decision to start slowing down. But, as Hsin-Yi says there are still other things you can do instead of hard exercises like agility and flyball, just like I switched from agility to dancing due to my hip problem. So, keep trying things and keep inspiring us!
Those dog treats from a human bakery look so yummy!
Love,
Cinnamon
Well, sorry about no fly-ball, but I’ll bet you’ll find something JUST as fun to do — only lower impact!
I have that spondylosis thing. I’ve only had it fire up a couple times -- and WOW, did it HURT! But after rest, anti-inflammatories, & pain meds, I was good to go. I usually forget all about it! I hope your owie goes away like that!
Play bows,
Zim
PS: Mmmm…. that cookie looked soooooo good!!!
I’m sure woo will find many pawesome things to do just not the wild and KHRAZY ones!
It looks like woo REALLY liked that kharob bone!
Khousin Merdie’s nails are like that too -- Mom jokingly says they are like little tree trunks!
We are glad woo are feeling more like Honey again!
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
Honey,
I’m so glad your back is feeling better.
Misty wants to tell you that gentle activities are the BEST!!!! She says you will get used to your new laid back lifestyle, and soon find you start getting rewarded for merely looking adorable! How fun is that?
Those treats at the puppy shack look fantastic. We were at our pet shop the other day, and the workers were telling me which ones tasted best. I asked them how they knew…..apparently the humans had taste tested them themselves!
that is so sad that you could not do flyball!
I dont think you are to old to do flyball!
oh well. you are lucky you got a bone treat! I love bone treats!
from EARNEST THE GREAT DANE ☺
Woos honey thaose cookies looked good!! Every Saturday Kaj rakes me to bone and biscut. And speacilty pet food store that has a whole big rack of those kind if cookies he buys a whole bunch. He says it for him. His favorite part of the day Is giving me that treat. He’s tryied them. They are not that bad he says.
I am so bummed for you both! But at least dogs don’t (usually) know what their missing! I’m sure you will find plenty of other ways to keep you both busy. Maybe you will finally debut in the obedience ring ?
Hi Honey!
So good to hear that your back is feelling better!
I wish I could get a yummy cookie when I get an pawdicure! That is my least favorite thing at the vets office!!!
It is sad to hear that you cannot do flyball! But I know you will find something just as much fun!
I love your pictures at the pet store! That is my favorite place to go! Everyone in the store knows my name and gives me lots of cuddles and treats!
Well I hope that your short walk days are over soon and you can go on some fun adventures again ! We love to hear about them and see your cool pics!
lots of slobber!
Kadie
Aw, sorry for your ouchie which is causing you to make big life changes, Honey. But we’d rather you be safe than disabled.
Hi, Honey!
That flyball looks pawesome!
I had seen Dennis doing it!
Maybe it is not for you but sure you still can dance and have fun!
I have the same problem with my nails. And that is why my Vet is the onewho has to cut them!
Hmmm… I never get a yummy treat after the pawdicure torture!
Take care
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Hi Honey
I’m glad your back ouchie is getting better -- I was sorry not to be able to meet with you at the beach, but it’s better for you to look after your ouchie! That flyball thing looks tricky -- I’m not sure I could manage, but I might ask my human to let me try some time.
My Grand(hu)ma gave me some venison ear treats to bring back to Melbourne -- I can’t have pig’s ears, as they are too fatty. The venison ears take me a while to eat -- several minutes, in fact, rather than seconds. My human wants to check whether they get slimy and sticky like pigs ears and rawhide, which I’m not allowed to eat if she’s not around, coz doggies with small noses like mine can choke on them if they get stuck to the roof of our mouths.
The other treat I like is kangaroo tendons -- they don’t get sticky, and she gave me one the other night in the motel so she could have a shower without me barking at noises -- and I was still eating it when she came out!
Puppy kisses
Sasha
How is it that you’re OLD, Honey?? I don’t think you’re THAT old…but I guess when the vet doctor says it’s not that safe to do strenuous exercise it should be followed. Your pawdicure looks great…and oh my, those yummy treats! I wonder if Mom can bake those…they look awesome!
Scottie
Hi Honey!
I am so sorry to hear that you can’t do flyball anymore, but I know that your parents have your best interests at heart! I know how boring it is to just have short boring walkies. That is happening to me now with my eye injury and it is really BORING! Hope you are feeling all better soon!
xo
Hi Honey, we are so so glad u are feeling better.Sorry for coming so late, u knowhow unpredictable mummy is when she is with a book.
It is fine if you need to slow down. maybe it is time to contemplate and pass on your wisdom after such an active life. you will definitely find so many happy activities to do instead of stressful exercises that might give u ouchies.are there any yoga classes for dawgs? maybe u can improvise?
those treats look so so nommy! Drool!
btw, we have an award for u on our site. please do go pick it up
wags, Ginger and Buddy
Hi Honey, awww, that’s such a shame! We’re so sorry you won’t get to play flyball but sometimes -- sigh! -- the humans do know best we suppose, even though their decisions are BORING!!
We’re glad your back ouchie is better but we have to agree with Hsin-Yi that it’s probably best you become more a lady of leisure, as we’d hate to hear that you’d hurt your back again! We think you should insist on being waited on just to make sure you don’t overdo it, he he he!
That photo of you just about to eat the cookie is WONDERFUL!
We’re glad you got a yummy treat, you really deserved it, especially after Hsin-Yi was unfaithful to you -- gasp! -- with another doggie!!
Schnauzer snuggles -- JD and Max.
Wait -- your human LEFT you while the nail abuse was happening. How horrible. Grins.
You do have some serious nails. Our nails are not too bad to maintain, though certain members of The Herd scream like it is horrible -- before even being touched. Gotta keep the humans on their toes.
Poor Honey! Coral and Duke are only pint-size danes, and I dremel their nails because they’re already too big to easily clip. http://www.doberdawn.com is a good resource for learning to use the dremel.
I’m glad your back owie is feeling better, but I’m sorry you’re not going to be the next flyball superstar.
Ow Honey what a trick getting you all excited only to find you were getting your nails done! Terrible. I went to the vet last week for my annual check only to hear the dreaded “Can you give Magoo a pedicure”. No way -- last time Mum did that to me I nearly bled out!! And because I SMILED at the vet when she went to give me a pedicure they put a horrible black thing on my nose. A muzzle, you have to be joking I’ve never had one of those in my life. It was a new vet and she obviously didn’t trust me or Mum.
Hsin-Yi, I was sorry to read that you can’t get involved in flyball. I guess the running, stopping and turning wouldn’t be too good for Honey.
I’ve even been noticing that we may have left it rather late for Penny to start flyball, as she is already five and a half and they are considered ‘veterans’ in this sport at seven, no matter what breed.
I think it’s wonderful that you are doing canine freestyle and tricks, because they are so intellectually stimulating for the dog (and fun for the human).
you know what… I do have the same issue with lucille’s nails… what about using nail file? have you ever tried? may be some bigger one since they have hard ones… I need to go to one of those hobbys do it yourself shops and see if there is anything that could help…
PS: never seen such delicious cookies…
ciao Nicoletta & Lucille
Honey, so sorry to hear about your back and all the medications you have to take, make sure Hsin-Yi coats medicine with treats, ok. You should not take it in an empty stomach so take advantage of it.
Gentle excercise? Slowing down a bit? Doesn’t sound like my Honey the graceful athlete!
Oh I had to close my eyes when I saw the nail clipper came to your paws, ouch! But the lady did a good job, I can see the claws off the ground without any blood scene!
We love you Honey, age is just a number. You girls Hsin-Yi and Honey are always beautiful, youthful to me, Mango the romantic pup!
Love y’all
Oh Honey -- I’m sorry you have to stop being all jumpy and running around so much. Hey, maybe you can go back to doing your therapy work? That doesn’t involve any jumping and it makes so many people happy. You’re still gorgeous and fit even if you’re bein forced to slow down.
woof -- Tucker
Honey -- great post! Love your bed ! and that overly nommy treat you got after nail cutting-- slobbers big time! regarding the nails -- what do you mean by “the quick” ? some smart trick regarding the cutting? we too have some worries about that…
anyway, my vet says my ouchies PROBABLY are growing pains, and gave me pain killing medicine. and a ” we’ll see how it goes for a while”… well, my human is watching me like a hawk everytime I as much as move a muscle, to see if I seem to have pain… making me feel a bit paranoid.. so far I seem to be better… but I too am forced to slow down a bit, and avoid jumping and wild stuff… and yes it would seem boring, but life can be good that way too can’t it?
That was an awesome video on flyball. I have seen little clips of it before but that really showed how it is done. The Bloopers were hilarious! I am pretty sure Moose would trot to the first jump, stop and sniff it then walk around and pee on the other side and then just wander off! After reading your posts for ages now (maybe a year or more) I somehow did not know you were a tennis ball nut! Not sure how I missed it. Maybe you could still do the smacking the board and catching the ball part of flyball… that is pretty low key? That sounds perfect for you! I am sure Hsin-yi is no where near out of ideas on how to keep challenging you though so you are a lucky girl! Thanks for reminding me about the ladder walking. This is good post-op therapy after knee surgery and I have been meaning to make Moose try it but have been sooooo lazy. Now that it is burning up outside it isn’t getting any easier for me to want to be out there but I should give it a try.
Moose has the same nails as you. I have seen some labbies with short nails and even with frequent cutting all the way to the quick (by a pro!) they still look long compared to lab nails so maybe that is another dane thing he has….
oh bummer! no flyball then, back ouchie is not fun! I am sure you will find something else fun to do. Thank godness we can still see you dance.
oh hey..i sleep like a Great Dane too! my head always ends up outside the bed.
wow..you paw is SO big!
Is that your slobber I see all over the floor?? that treat must be super yum!
wags,
Preston
Hello Honey,
Your playdate with Lupe seem so much fun even if it wasn’t at the beach. He was a great guest submitting to you. Yes, we all dog gurrrrrlie doggies are bossies!!
I am so happy your back is better but am sorry that Hsin-Yi (so weird typing that LOL) has decided that you have to take it easy because of your age. She not only has the same name as my mum, she even SOUNDS like her…. Unlike you, I have always had health issues since I was one, mainly ortho problems. However, I never took anything easy, and now that I’m 10, mum is always worried about me because I’m a SENIOR???? Humph is right! Oh and I know about those dreaded bed rests, I’ve been on them for the last month because of the stem cell procedure I had! I almost died of boredom too, just like you.
Lastly, I hear you about those ignorant, arrogant hoomans, don’t let it get to you (I’ve had to tell mum that the last few days because of the film festival). Your training advises were soo good and thorough tho, I can’t see anyone not appreciating the time and effort you and Hsin-Yi put in to wrote those posts.
I am so happy to have met you too!!
Love nibbles,
Miss Sunshade
Yeh Honey I understand you and your mums frustrations, mum is retiring me too!!!and I still look young, and feel young, I still go bananas when I see or hear music and feel that atmostphere! but I keep growing these fatty lumps that have to come out, I have had 2 operations recently, and sometimes ny back leg hurts too. Mum says she understands because we are almost the same age and she gets horrible pains now too. She tries to convince me that I am lucky cause I can now take it easy, when she has to keep working and doing things….but I want to dance!!! how can I explain that to her…huh?
Awwwww so sorry you had to drop your classes, but it is usually best to listen to your doctor. I know slowing down is no fun, but it’s better than being injured. At least you get to keep dancing! And Rally-O looks like a lot of fun. You might enjoy that.
Jackal thinks that cookie looked really good.
hahhaaha! die of boredom? YOU? THAT’S a laugh! We know the REAL Honey…. you’re like a lion, sleep 23.5 hours, work 30 minutes (and those minutes are broken down even more…)… oh ya, you can’t pull the wool over our dingo eyes!
Though we DO know how much you actually LIKE to work too (and nap)… so we’re sorry to see the sports go. but somehow we don’t believe you’ll be stopping doing stuff ever…
Oh my dawg that fly ball video ROCKED! i didn’t know dysplastic dogs could do this! now i TOTALLY want to try with both dogs. its been on my list to try for a while and i’ve been wanting to but wondered about Juno. now with low jumps, i’d bet she’d be just fine and would LOVE it! she could totally learn the push ball catch… now i’m thinking this will be a better sport for all 3 of us and maybe dancing too when we are in Europe…how fun!
Wow. I love this. I am sending it to a few friends and also bookmarking your site. Thanks for your effort and the information
