Hi-Ho Honey, away!
Gosh, what a Most Beautiful picture of you, Honey!
Wiggles & Wags,
Mayzie
Hahaha oh god that is so funny, whoaaaaaa Honey, settle down girl! We had a mini pony, Panda, who was a similar size to Honey, and she used to rear like that all the time (on command though!)
mommy says we look like a herd of thorobreds when me and my dane brothers and sisters and friends used to meet at the park on thursdays and run around the park. horses are beautiful and so are great danes.
she also says i poop like a horse.
love from your friend bubba

Wonderful photo of your sweet “horse”!
We always had big (150 lbs) Old English Sheep dogs. Our comparable & often heard comment was, “those aren’t dogs, those are bears!”
She is beautiful.
People would say the same remark about my Great Dane. Sometimes they would add “Do you have a saddle for him”?
Silly people…..Great Danes are just gentle giants!
hhahaha
thats a great picture!
You look gorgeous, even though people might call you a horse, Honey! *wink* Great photos of you playing
Hi Hsin-Yi,
When did you get a horse?? LOL Great Picture, I hope Honey didn’t hurt herself.
What a wonderful photo!!
Smileys & Snuggles!
Dory, Bilbo and Jacob
Giddy up, Honey
XX
She is big. But don’t think she’d appreciate riders.
OMD -- that is just great!!! We never think of Honey as a horse. People can be just plain rude. Great photo though.
Woos -- Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Just an amazing photo!!
Honey! Be mindful of how you let yourself be photographed. I bet you hear, “put a saddle on that thing” a lot too. You look like my friend Chrome popping a wheelie there. But he IS a horse.
Slobbers,
Mango
Oh HOney….you look just like a horse in that picture!! Especially the way your front paws are up and your ears…hehehehe! That made us smile. As for the rest of your posts we have missed
….WOW, you have been having some great adventures! We loved seeing the tea party with Nessy’s little human pups…so sweet! I would have totally gone for the duck too.
Also, the great dinner party at your Great Dane friend’s house looked wonderful. Playing video games after dinner parties is something my pawrents sometimes like to do. You even got to sleep on the couch and have a chewy with your pal…you are one lucky girl! We also loved those little blue crabs…how cool! Guess what? We have a little tree frog living in our irrigation system but I have not been able to play with him.
Anyway, as for Mom, everything’s fine but the end of school and my uncle’s wedding last weekend have kept her busy. She is also waiting to hear what her future job will look like next year?? She may get to teach the Challenge program which is for kids above grade level but she’s still not sure…it’s a long, drawn out process. Anyway, hopefully now that summer is here she and I can get back in the swing of the blog thing. We have missed you too…ALOT! Have a super weekend!
Nala & Amber
AWESOME picture!! I bet that statement gets old pretty quickly!
Millions.
That’s how much money we would have if we pooled it together. MILLIONS! ha
hahaa! you do look like a horse in that picture!
my daddy always asks me “how do you know a Great Dane and a Chihuahua are both dogs?? ” hee hee..it is a secret..I am not telling him.

Preston

slobbers House
Neeeiiiiggghhhh!
Whenever Mom hears someone call me a horse, she corrects them. I’m a designer breed better known as a “dorse”. Dog + Horse.
wags, wiggles & slobbers
Murphydog

Humans aren’t very original are they? I love it when people stop me and say I am beautiful
I bet you get that a lot too!

Digby

Honey the Horse!
If you want a bit of a giggle and see that danes aren’t he only ones who can be called horses, search ponydoodles in goodle images
Enjoy!
Licks and lots of slobber,
Lexi and Jasper the Danes
Honey,
What a beautiful picture! My humans and I really appreciated your email. My humans try and take me on lots of adventures and I meet lots of new people everyday. Sometimes I get a little tired of all of the attention, but I know they mean well. As for my rock eating habit, I’ve been doing pretty well the last few days, but I’m making my humans work pretty hard. The vet thinks they should try a basket muzzle, but I’m trying to get it under control before they go that far. I just can’t seem to resist a good kibble sized rock now and again!
I love hearing about your adventures,
Lucy
P.S. Got any good tricks that my humans can teach me? I’ve got come, sit, down, wait, twirl, shake, place, and stay close under control and honestly I’m bored with them. They need some ideas to keep me entertained!
Hi, Hsin-Yi, here’s a copy of my reply to your very helpful comment on my post about free shaping.
Yes, Hsin-Yi, it’s very helpful! I knew I didn’t have a clear understanding of the technique, so to a certain extent I posted the clip hoping someone would help me -- and you have!!
Have you ever written a post or a magazine article about free-shaping, or do you know of a good site with some video clips?
I’ll post this across on your site, because I know you are super busy with those Deceased Lines (Honey told me!).
Lexi and Jasper’s suggestion about the ponydoodles is hilarious.
Momma and I think this is funny! We were at “Hogs and Dogs” tonight (a Harley show and shine down the road from us with 4000+ Harleys). A tiny girl broke from her parents and came running after me yelling “it’s a pony, it’s a pony!!.
oooh honey thats a nice photo
well i (el’bow) gonna tell you a super story
sanne will be rich to !! hahaha i think that alot of humans dont now what a dog is our a horse.
sometime i can come with sanne to the shops. and there was a couple (who doesnt now anything about dogs) and they ask sanne if i was a labrador crosse. hahaha sanne says no thats not a crosse ! what kind a breed is the dog ask the couple and Sanne was in the joke mood: she says
its a chihuahua el grande a new kinda breed. hahaha and the couple say whooow never seen that befor. are the kennels of chihuahua el grande. Sanne says yeah just look it up with google.
haha some humans dont know dogs
a other story. well the is a song in dutch named “er staat een paard in de gang” in english it is there is a horse in the hallway. and one time
papa was training and mama sanne and i (hauwii wasnt born yet) and we walk in the hallway of a gym
and there was a volleball team who just finsh training and the past us by. and wen they all where in the changing room they were singing that song hahaha
so you know not all people now what dogs and horses are
Kissslobbers
El’bow & Hauwii
OMG, those people were right -- that has to be a horse!! LOL! AWESOME photo!!!
Wow Honey!! We knew you were a good model, but had no idea you did acting too!! Sometimes our human would like to jokingly place a sign on Drake with this on it:
“Price List-
If you want to know how much I eat in a day, please go buy me a bag of food and we’ll figure it out for you.
If you call me a horse, you owe us $5.
If you ask about a saddle, it’s $10.
And if you ask for a ride it’s $1.5 million.
All inquiries can be made to that smiling lady at the end of the long string.”
One person even called Drake a Dalmation… can you imagine… he weighs twice that.. not to mention the height! Hrmmmmmff!
Slobbers,
Sasha & Drake
*I really had no idea how much attention you got just by owning a Dane!!*
Yes, I can see the resemblence in that picture! lol
Honey, can you have Hsin -- Yi send us an email at sibemama at yahoo dot com for more info about the collars? Thanks. She is going out for the night but will try to get back to you tomorrow.
I get that ALL THE TIME for my Great Dane too… Great picture!!
Giddy-up!
HI HO TONTO!!!
Aw, poor Honey! They shouldn’t make fun of you like that! If it’s any consolation, Mom gets asked if I’m a coyote a lot.
Play bows,
Zim
Great picture! You’re beautiful Honey!
Honey you put a smile on my face everytime I see you!
What a perfect pose!
Honey, are you going to be in TV commercials of National Bank?
What a gorgeous photo!
Lady

Ciao Lucille

That is a most bootiful sihouette of you weawing up like a howsie(only bettew)
smoochie kisses

Oh yeah I’ve gotten that about the Danes I look after. I think they’re probably smarter than horses… But they do remind me of horses, not just in size, but in bone and muscle structure. Danes and horses both walk quite regally too.
We hear that a lot, too! Still, we love our “house ponies”!
But just a small horse.
We think that is a wonderful picture of you Honey!
Hottehü!!!! Just to throw some German words in
!
You look GORGEOUS big girl!
Slobbers Teal’c
you could put a saddle on that thing and ride it!!!! oh how funny, i bet you haven’t heard that one a million times--like us!
We have 3 beautiful Blue Great Danes with 2 of them being 185 lbs (84 Kgs) with a 1 year old pup comming in at 175 lbs (79 Kgs). We get those comments all the time.
