If you would just like to say hello, please do!
You can either use the form below – or come to Honey’s Blog and leaving us a comment there – we’d love to hear your thoughts on Honey’s adventures!
Following Honey’s blog is also the best way to keep up-to-date on our news, watch new Honey videos (many not available on public Youtube), get training & behaviour tips and info on petfriendly places, products & services. You can subscribe by email so that you never miss a post!
.
We try our best to answer messages but we get so many every day that we may not be able to answer every one.
Especially if we are dealing with personal issues, travelling overseas, moving house, have family/friends visiting, etc…check Honey’s blog to find out what is happening at the moment. (We respond much faster to comments on the blog)
IF YOU HAVE A TRAINING/BEHAVIOUR QUESTION, READ THIS FIRST:
We get a lot of messages every day – many of them asking for advice on training and behavioural issues.
I am sorry – I try my best to help when I can but I am NOT a professional dog trainer, giving free advice to boost my business – Honey’s blog is a PERSONAL site I do in my spare time. I get very upset by the number of rude people who just turn up here, arrogantly demanding answers to training questions, like I owe it to them, and then don’t even have the courtesy to acknowledge my long, detailed responses with a simple “Thank you.”!
So from now on, we will only be answering questions from our blog readers, who make the effort to follow and comment on the blog . Questions will usually be answered publicly in the ‘Ask Honey!’ blog posts, so anything you send may be published.
REMEMBER – many dog behavioural problems are far too complex to try and advise on without seeing the dog/situation in real life and NO reputable dog trainer or behaviourist would just suggest “quick fixes” over the internet.
Check the list on the ‘Ask Honey‘ page first as your question may have already been answered.
If you are curious about Honey’s bed, her pyjamas or her crates, please look under the ‘All About Honey’ page in the top menu.
For all questions about Honey’s Raw Diet, please look at the ‘Raw Diet’ page – ALL the information I have has already been put on those pages, including a detailed FAQ.

When Lemon passed away, did Honey notice her absence & act any different? I love the video and find myself coming back to it over & over again, it makes me cry every time. I do believe there really was something magical between the two of them. I have a Great Dane he just turned 1 in February & he and my beagle are best friends, she is four and I have a naughty 2 year old cat as well, they all 3 love each other very much
Hey Honey!
Just a quick reply to the message you left on my blog. Thanks for that, by the way!!
Sorry that my blog is in Dutch, but there is a link on the site to the Google translator. You can copy-paste the text so that an English translation appears. It’s not always that accurate, but it should give you an idea of what’s been written in Dutch.
I do have a lot of kitty brothers and sisters; they were living with my humans before they decided on adding me to the family. It’s a mix of boys and girls, but they are all neutered, so that they can’t have babies.
Thank you for the compliments on my looks! My humans also immediately noticed that your looks are much more related to the European lines of Great Danes and they love that majestic look too! Nowadays there are more and more breeders over here in Europe who breed the skinnier type of Danes too, with the “smaller” head and muzzle, but they looked for a breeder who still has the more impressive looking European type cause they think it’s prettier. My ancestors come from France, but I was born in Belgium myself, cause my parents are living with a Belgian Great Dane breeder.
I don’t think I’ve met Lincoln yet, but you made me curious so I’ll be checking his site soon! I’m always keen to meet new friends!
I’ve been on the raw diet ever since I came to live with my humans. But the good news is that the breeder I come from (with whom my humans still have contact on a regular basis) has seen the light and has started to feed his Danes raw food too! A lot of people are still not convinced that it’s healthier, but all I can say is that I’m happy with what my humans feed me!
Gotta go now, it’s turning into a large message here…
Slobbery kiss, Killian

I have never seen a Grey Spotted Chihuahua with blue eyes, so if your Mom happen to run across my message to you, have her check it out, and tell me what ya’ll think about to pup I’m getting, Wish me luck, here is the link :

Hey Hsin-Yi I was just wondering if you had trained Honey to ‘roll over’ or ‘play dead’. I have read few reports where it says, its better not to train a Dane to roll over as it increases the chances of ‘bloat’. Well but I definitely gotta teach Bambi to ‘play dead’, I am having a little trouble in getting her on to the side, even with treats, toys or anything for that matter. If you have practiced it with Honey, could you please share some tips with me if possible, or if you do have a video of the process then there is nothing better that that.
Thank you very much in advance!
Regards
Aj
